Founded in 2017 as Your Family MD, my practice began under a direct primary care (DPC) model. This meant working directly with patients rather than insurance companies, keeping health and well-being at the center of every decision and creating space for more meaningful, unhurried care.
As my work evolved, it became clear that many patients needed deeper, more individualized support. They needed care that addressed lifestyle, metabolic health, and mindset alongside medical treatment. In 2025, I became an Elite Brain Health Certified Clinician through Amen University, I completed advanced hormone replacement therapy training for perimenopause through Hirsch Academy, and I began my training in Functional Medicine through the Institute of Functional Medicine. These milestones reflected the natural progression of my practice and the needs I have been seeing in my patients.
What began as a full-scope primary care practice for patients of all ages has grown into something more focused and intentional. I rebranded my practice as Dalian MD to better reflect my commitment to personalized, holistic care.
Today, my work centers on metabolic health, chronic disease prevention, hormone optimization, brain health, and sustainable lifestyle change. I continue ongoing education in functional medicine, obesity medicine, and culinary medicine to ensure my patients receive thoughtful, up-to-date care that supports long-term health and well-being.
Care is primarily delivered through telemedicine, offering flexibility and accessibility, while in-person care is also available through home and travel visits when appropriate. This approach allows me to meet patients where they are and provide care that fits their needs, lifestyle, and level of support.
